What is inZOI
inZOI is a life simulation game developed and published by Krafton. Described as a game where "every life becomes a story," it combines realistic graphics with a detailed simulation engine that generates unexpected moments and emergent narratives. The game is currently in early access on PC via Steam.
Players create and guide characters called Zois through daily life in a modern setting, managing relationships, careers, and personal milestones. Krafton has maintained a steady update pace during early access, with patches regularly introducing new gameplay systems, locations, and creative tools.
Early access development
inZOI's early access period has brought frequent content updates. The v0.9.0 patch introduced active high schools with classes, clubs, and prom events, clothing store businesses, an experimental first-person camera mode, and expanded baby mechanics. Krafton has also released an official ModKit for community-created content, with mod documentation available on the game's website. A PS5 version has been announced but delayed to the first half of 2027.
