The Sims 4 August Sale is now live, running through August 13th and bringing discounts of up to 50% across expansion packs, game packs, stuff packs, and bundles. The headline for this round: the Royalty & Legacy expansion pack is discounted for the first time since its release.
Expansion pack pricing
Expansion packs normally retail at $39.99 USD. Here's how the August Sale breaks them down:
- The Sims 4: Royalty & Legacy, 20% off ($31.99). This is its first sale appearance.
- The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits, 25% off ($29.99)
- The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature, 40% off ($23.99)
- All other expansion packs (from Businesses & Hobbies back to Get to Work), 50% off ($19.99)
If you have been holding out on older expansions, $19.99 is about as low as these tend to go outside of deep bundle discounts.
Game packs, stuff packs, and kits
Every game pack in the catalogue is 30% off, bringing them from $19.99 down to $13.99.
Stuff packs are also 30% off at $6.99 each (normally $9.99).
Kits, as usual, are not included in the sale. If you are looking for additional content outside these discounts, the Sims 4 Marketplace web storefront launched this week and supports EA's Stack & Save feature for mixing and matching packs at a discount.

Four legacy bundles are discounted (note: the Royalty Masquerade Bundle and Lady Bridgerton's Masquerade Ball Bundle are excluded because they include kits):
- Love & Family Bundle (Growing Together, Parenthood, My Wedding Stories), 25% off at $44.99
- Pet Lovers Bundle (Cats & Dogs, Parenthood, My First Pet), 20% off at $39.99
- Decorator's Dream Bundle (Dream Home Decorator, Cottage Living, Tiny Living), 20% off at $39.99
- Everyday Sims Bundle (Seasons, Laundry Day, Parenthood), 20% off at $39.99
When does the sale end?
The Sims 4 August Sale runs until August 13th, 2026. With the newer Stack & Save system also available, it is worth checking whether individual pack discounts or a custom bundle gives you the better price before checking out.
