Three Sims 4 Maker Packs that were pulled from the Marketplace just days after their August 21 release are now back, and one of them got cheaper in the process.
The Little Plant & Garden Shop Maker Pack by SixamCC dropped from 700 to 600 Moola ($6), a small but notable adjustment that came alongside its return. The Cottagerie Maker Pack by Pierisim was the first to reappear late Friday night, while the Garden Shop and Salon Glow Hair Set by MADLEN followed on Monday.
EA and Maxis have not explained why the three packs were removed in the first place. All five Maker Packs launched together on August 21, but only two stayed up continuously. The brief disappearance and quiet return suggest some kind of internal review or marketplace testing, though the specifics remain unclear.
What is in each returning pack
Cottagerie Maker Pack by Pierisim (400 Moola / $4) brings rustic wooden furniture, tableware, plants, and food props like bread and cheese. It is aimed at players building cozy kitchens and countryside dining spaces.
The Little Plant & Garden Shop Maker Pack by SixamCC (600 Moola / $6, reduced from 700) is the largest of the three with 50 items, including over 20 real-life-inspired plant varieties, shelves, displays, planters, signs, and furniture for building a plant shop, greenhouse, or just filling your Sim's home with greenery.
Salon Glow Hair Set Maker Pack by MADLEN (300 Moola / $3) adds six hairstyles ranging from long to bob cuts and updos. It is the most straightforward of the bunch, offering salon-quality styles for everyday CAS looks.
The price drop in context
The Garden Shop pack going from 700 to 600 Moola puts it in line with what you would expect for a 50-item set on the Marketplace. Whether the original 700 price was a mistake or a deliberate adjustment based on player feedback during those few days is anyone's guess. Either way, if you held off last week, the pack is now a dollar less.
