What the pack adds

Toddler Stuff is the twelfth stuff pack for The Sims 4, released on August 24, 2017 by Maxis. It focuses entirely on the toddler life stage, bringing new Create a Sim options, playground objects, and outdoor build items into the game. The pack requires The Sims 4 base game to play.

Where other stuff packs spread content across several life stages, Toddler Stuff puts everything into one age group. The result is a small but focused set of items that give toddler households more to do and more ways to look while doing it.

Playground objects and activities

The main attraction is a set of colorful outdoor play equipment built around a toddler jungle gym. The largest version includes a slide, ball pit, and crawling tunnels in one structure. Toddlers can use the equipment to burn off energy, and the interactions also help them build social and motor skills.

Make-believe play adds another layer. Toddlers can pretend to be pirates or astronauts, and parents can set up a play space in a backyard or local park and invite the neighbors over for a playdate. These social moments give toddlers a chance to make friends while older Sims chat and grill nearby.

The pack includes around 29 new CAS items for toddlers, covering hairstyles and clothing for both boys and girls. Standout pieces include butterfly-winged tees, animal hoodies, and rainbow moccasins, alongside a range of tops, bottoms, full outfits, and shoes. The styles lean bright and whimsical, matching the playful tone of the rest of the pack.

Build and buy items

Beyond the jungle gym, Toddler Stuff adds roughly 24 build and buy mode items. These include a sunshade, a brightly colored fence and gate, a picnic table, and a directors chair. Styled rooms are also included, making it quicker to set up a toddler-friendly outdoor area without placing every piece individually.
