What Tiny Living adds
Tiny Living is a stuff pack for The Sims 4 released on January 21, 2020. It centers on compact living, giving players a new residential lot type with gameplay perks that grow as the home shrinks. The pack also includes space-saving furniture, multi-functional objects, and 32 Create a Sim items with a relaxed, minimalist look.
Tiny home lot type and perks
The pack introduces the Tiny Home Residential lot type with three tiers based on tile count. Small homes (65 to 100 tiles) give Sims lower bills and make happy, inspired, and focused moodlets last twice as long. Tiny homes (33 to 64 tiles) add doubled comfort and twice the skill gain speed on top of those perks. Micro homes (32 tiles or fewer) stack all previous benefits with faster relationship building and accelerated plant growth. The smaller the home, the more bonuses your Sims receive.
Build mode items
Around 34 build and buy objects come with the pack, all shaped for tight spaces. The murphy bed is the highlight, folding into the wall to free up floor space during the day, though Sims risk being crushed to death when pulling it down. An all-in-one stereo, TV, and bookshelf combo gives Sims entertainment and reading from a single piece of furniture. The rest of the catalog focuses on cozy, functional decor suited to downsized lots. For more on placing and adjusting objects, see the Sims 4 build mode guide.
Create a Sim items
Tiny Living adds 32 CAS items reflecting a low-key lifestyle. Options include oversized cashmere sweaters, comfortable pajamas, turtlenecks, and dress shirts.
