What Spooky Stuff adds
Spooky Stuff is a stuff pack for The Sims 4 released on September 29, 2015. It brings Halloween-themed content to the game, including new costumes, face paint, and accessories for Sims of all ages, along with interactive objects and a party type built around trick-or-treating and pumpkin carving. The pack includes 37 Create a Sim items and 33 build and buy mode objects, plus two pre-made indoor rooms designed for hosting spooky gatherings.
Costumes range from sea pirates and gladiators to fairy outfits and the Super-Llama, with options available for male and female Sims across children, teens, adults, and elders. Skeleton face paint and other themed accessories round out the Create a Sim additions.
Pumpkin carving and the candy bowl
The Pumpkin Carving Station is the pack's main interactive object. Any Sim from children up can carve a pumpkin for §25, choosing from 10 different designs that depend on the Sim's Handiness or Motor skill level. Designs range from the Dud Pumpkin at level 1 to the Puking Pumpkin at level 4, and a Sim's emotional state can also influence the result. Carved pumpkins spoil after about four days unless you pay §50 to preserve them. Ghost Sims can place a carved pumpkin on their head, while mischievous Sims may stomp pumpkins instead of admiring them.
The Spooky Candy Bowl is the other key interactive object. Sims who reach for a treat may get a pop-out scare, which gives them either a four-hour Tense or four-hour Happy moodlet depending on how they react.
Spooky Party
The pack introduces a social event called the Spooky Party, which costs §250 to throw. All guests arrive in costume, and party-specific interactions let your Sim request carved pumpkins, ask for treats, and compliment or discuss other Sims' outfits. Earning a gold medal at the Spooky Party rewards your Sim with the Super-Llama costume.
Recipes and decor
Three cooking recipes come with the pack: Spooky Cookies at cooking level 2, Cheese Eyeballs at level 3, and Zombie Cake at level 4. On the build and buy side, the catalog adds haunted paintings that change their appearance, fog-emitting tombstones, ghost-shaped lights, and a cauldron light show, giving builders plenty of options for a Halloween-themed lot.
