What the pack includes
Romantic Garden Stuff adds 34 build mode items and 19 Create-a-Sim pieces themed around Victorian garden aesthetics. The build catalog includes moss-covered statues, ivy-wrapped arches, and flowering decorations for creating lush outdoor spaces. On the CAS side, the pack provides romantically styled hairstyles and clothing for adults, teens, elders, and children. Maxis and EA released Romantic Garden Stuff on February 9, 2016.
The Whispering Wishing Well
The pack's signature object is the Whispering Wishing Well, available for §7,775 in the buy catalog. Sims make an offering between §100 and §5,000, then choose from several wish categories including romance, promotion, happiness, simoleons, skills, youthful vigor, and life. The well has a temperament that determines each outcome, and results range from overwhelmingly positive to negative consequences and even death. There is roughly an eight-hour cooldown between wishes.
The Fountain of Gluteus Maximus
The Fountain of Gluteus Maximus (§1,250) is an interactive water feature usable by Sims of all ages. Interactions include tossing a coin, adding soap to create bubbles, napping on the edge, and splashing around. Adding soap raises the Mischief skill, and Sims with the Kleptomaniac trait can swipe simoleons from the fountain. Sims sitting on the fountain's edge can also use social interactions with others nearby.
Additional content
The pack introduces a Baroque music channel for radios and wall speakers, setting a romantic mood for garden gatherings. A pre-built venue called Lost Gardens of Healing is available to place through the gallery. Players who also own The Sims 4 Get Together receive a new club activity, Play in Park Fountains. The pack also enables the Toss Coin interaction on other fountains in the game.
