What the kit includes
Poolside Splash Kit is a Create a Sim fashion kit for The Sims 4, focused on swimwear and pool accessories. It adds tops, bottoms, full-body outfits, and accessories in bright colors and playful patterns designed to complement a range of skin tones and body types. Items cover Sims from child through elder.
Feminine swim items include five tops ranging from bikini tops to breezy cover-ups, four bottoms including bikini bottoms, a cover-up wrap, and board shorts, and four full outfits featuring one-pieces with cutouts and bikini sets paired with floaties or cover-up shirts. Masculine items include two tops, a button-down and a slouchy tank top, along with swim trunks, speedos, and a full outfit with matching board shorts and floaties. Children get one outfit each for masculine and feminine frames, both with floaties to match the adult styles.
Accessories and swatches
The kit's accessory selection rounds out the swimwear with two styles of sandals, including wedge heels with an ankle bracelet detail and a pair of slides. There are also two pairs of sunglasses (one with clear frames), necklaces, a bracelet, and a set of rainbow nails. Most items come with 8 to 12 color and pattern swatches, giving plenty of room to mix and match poolside looks across different Sims.
Availability
Poolside Splash Kit released on September 7, 2023 alongside the Modern Luxe Kit. It is available on PC through the EA app and Steam, on Mac, and on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The kit requires The Sims 4 base game and all game updates.
