What the pack adds
My Wedding Stories is the eleventh game pack for The Sims 4, released on February 23, 2022. Filed under the Family & Friends category, it expands weddings by letting players guide their Sims through the full arc from proposal to reception. The pack ships with 86 Create-a-Sim items covering formal wear, accessories, and hairstyles, along with 82 Build Mode objects for wedding-themed lots and decoration.
Wedding planning and ceremonies
Players control every stage of the wedding process. Before the big day, Sims can throw engagement dinners, rehearsal dinners, and bachelor or bachelorette parties. A Sim of Honor can be selected to help with preparations, and flower girl and ring bearer roles round out the wedding party.
Ceremony customization covers attire, flowers, cake, venue, and cultural traditions. A wedding boutique in Tartosa offers dress styles including traditional white gowns, red dresses, and henna-inspired designs. A flower cart handles bouquets, and a patisserie lets players choose cakes and toppers. During the ceremony, Sims exchange vows and rings, then celebrate with dancing, cake cutting, toasts, and a bouquet toss. A Family Gathering tea ceremony offers an alternative tradition for players who want to reflect different cultural celebrations. Sims can also renew their vows later in life.
Tartosa
Tartosa is a romantic coastal world split into two neighborhoods: Porto Luminoso and Terra Amorosa. The world contains nine lots, including residential homes, a lounge, a rental property, and a wedding venue. It was the first world in The Sims 4 to include a prebuilt Wedding Venue lot type.
The setting draws on Italian-inspired architecture with coastal views, historic landmarks, and scenic gardens. Community creators contributed custom lots representing various cultural aesthetics to the world at launch.
