What the kit includes
Modern Retreat Kit brings around 24 build and buy objects to The Sims 4, all designed around a mid-century modern aesthetic with natural materials, clean lines, and neutral tones. The collection was built in collaboration with TudTuds, a creator known for minimalist, Maxis-match build and buy sets.
Seating options include sofas, a loveseat, armchairs, and ottomans. Surface pieces cover a coffee table, TV stand, and two styles of wooden shelves. A marble fireplace with hearth anchors the larger room layouts. Lighting comes in the form of a box ceiling lamp, a wooden egg lamp, and light rods. Smaller decorative objects such as a bird sculpture, bar tray, stingray figurine, and a plant fill out the catalog.
Muxarabi panels
The signature piece of Modern Retreat Kit is the Muxarabi panel, a decorative latticework element inspired by traditional screened architecture. These panels can be placed as wall décor on their own or layered over large glass windows to add privacy and shade while keeping light flowing into the room. Several other items in the kit are designed to pair with the panels, giving the full set a consistent visual thread.
Building with the kit
Because this is a build and buy kit in the Architecture and Décor category, there are no new Create a Sim items, gameplay systems, or pre-built lots. The focus is entirely on furnishing and decorating interiors. The furniture works well for retreats, vacation homes, or any residential lot where you want a quieter, nature-influenced atmosphere with a contemporary edge.
