What the kit includes
The Modern Menswear Kit is a fashion and style kit for The Sims 4, released on December 2, 2021. Created in collaboration with London-based designer Stefan Cooke, it adds 24 Create a Sim items to the game, all for teen through elder Sims wearing masculine-framed clothing. The kit does not include accessories, hair, or makeup, and there are no items for child Sims. It requires The Sims 4 base game.
Clothing and styling
The kit's wardrobe spans tops, bottoms, full-body outfits, and shoes. Tops include a leather jacket, a denim jacket, a sweater vest, a collared shirt, and several sweaters with textured patterns like crosses, diamonds, and zigzags. Bottoms range from casual trousers and sweatpants to leggings and a knitted skirt with traditional-looking patterns. Five full-body outfits provide complete looks, some featuring skirts, scarves, or boots. Two pairs of formal-leaning shoes round things out. Several pre-assembled styled looks are also included for quick outfit picks in Create a Sim.
The Stefan Cooke collaboration
Stefan Cooke and partner Jake Burt helm an award-winning London label focused on redefining traditional menswear. The kit reflects that perspective, bringing pieces that blend contemporary silhouettes, fluid shapes, and details like zippers, cutouts, and pleats into The Sims 4. Scalloped skirts and latticed sweaters sit alongside more conventional items such as denim jackets and corduroy trousers, giving players a wardrobe that ranges from everyday casual to fashion-forward. EA describes the collection as "a thought-provoking, accessible collection" that reinvigorates the basics.
