What's in the pack
Luxury Party Stuff was the first stuff pack released for The Sims 4, arriving on May 19, 2015. It focuses on throwing formal parties, adding 41 Create a Sim items and 12 Build Mode objects. The CAS catalog covers sequin dresses, three-piece tuxedos, new hairstyles, makeup, and accessories for teen and older Sims. Three pre-made styled looks are included for both feminine and masculine frames.
Banquet table and drink fountain
The two main gameplay objects are the banquet table and the drink fountain. The banquet table lets Sims serve party food at a consistently good quality regardless of their cooking skill, though Sims with maxed Gourmet Cooking can add garnishes. The drink fountain can dispense beverages along with chocolate, cheese, or caramel for dipping snacks. Reaching level 5 in mixology or cooking opens additional fountain options and grants happy moodlets. Sims with level 4 mischief can sabotage a fountain to cause discomfort for unsuspecting guests.
Build mode items and music
The 12 Build Mode objects include a chair, high stool, bench, small table, display table, bar counter, curtain, sculpture, and wall decor, each available in multiple color swatches. Two pre-styled room setups provide a starting point for party spaces. The pack also adds two new songs each to the Electronica and Pop in-game radio stations.
