What the kit includes
Kitchen Clutter Kit adds 31 new Build/Buy items to The Sims 4, mixing decorative clutter with functional objects that tie into cooking and meal prep. The collection was released on May 1, 2025 and is available on the EA app, Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It requires the base game and all game updates.
The kit was designed around the idea of a kitchen that feels busy and lived-in. Game designer Danny Kovacs described the goal as capturing cluttered countertops that reflect the stories of a busy family.
Functional objects
Six of the 31 items are interactive. The Fresh Finds Grocery Bag lets Sims purchase fresh groceries and store fish, harvested produce, and even prepared meals, which makes it especially useful on lots running the Simple Living lot trait from Cottage Living. The Simsational Cereals box works like a small fridge, letting Sims grab a bowl of cereal. The Jar of Delights cookie jar gives Sims a quick snack, and the Little Lunchbox provides portable meals and drinks.
The CookBook Pro Display is a tablet on a stand that functions like the Home Chef Hustle cookbook, giving Sims access to cooking, baking, and other food activities depending on which packs are installed. The Kitchen Timer can be set to a specific hour, and every Sim in the room will react when it goes off.
Furniture and decorative clutter
Larger pieces include the Magnet Marvel Fridge, which features colorful magnets and drawings on its door, a kitchen island with a usable shelf underneath, and a built-in sink. Decorative items cover chopping boards, a knife block, oven gloves, a dish drainer, a mug rack, utensil jars, stacking storage tubs in two heights, fresh herbs in tubs, a spice rack, glass jars with visible contents, and a cleaning caddy.
Wall decor includes a tileable splashback available in neutral and pastel colors and 14 paintings spanning food themes, Voidcritter art, and neutral designs. A pre-built styled room called Cluttered Family Kitchen showcases nearly all items from the kit and comes with three swatch options.
