Selvadorada and what the pack adds

Jungle Adventure adds Selvadorada, a vacation destination world inspired by Latin American jungle culture. Sims travel there to explore dense wilderness, visit a local cantina, try traditional food, learn dance moves, and shop for survival gear and authentic décor. The world includes archaeological dig sites, hidden pools, and a mysterious temple that changes its layout, traps, and rewards on each visit.

The pack introduced two new skills. The archaeology skill lets Sims excavate artifacts, examine them at a dedicated archaeology table, and verify whether finds are authentic or counterfeit. The Selvadoradian culture skill teaches local recipes, dance moves, and survival knowledge that help Sims handle the jungle's dangers more effectively.

Temple exploration and relics

At the heart of the pack is a multi-room temple filled with traps and skeletons. Sims navigate environmental hazards ranging from deadly bees to poisonous spiders as they work through each chamber, solving puzzles to reach the treasure at the end. Repeat visits shuffle the challenges and rewards, so no two runs play out the same way.

Relics are a collectible system unique to this pack. They come in the form of relic bases and tops, which can be fused together with a refined crystal to create a functioning mystical relic. Skeletons appear inside the temple as obstacles, but a rare relic can also summon a skeleton as a temporary helper at home. Summoned skeletons have no bladder, hunger, energy, or hygiene needs, making them useful for chores and childcare while their owners are away.

Two new aspirations support the pack's gameplay: Jungle Explorer, which focuses on navigating the wilderness, and Archaeology Scholar, which tracks artifact discovery and study.

Create a Sim and build mode content

Jungle Adventure includes 41 Create a Sim items such as colorful patterned outfits, jungle-appropriate clothing, and accessories. In build and buy mode, the pack adds 178 objects for decorating homes and lots with a Selvadoradian aesthetic.

The pack is categorised under Outdoor Adventures on the EA store and requires The Sims 4 base game.
