What the pack includes
Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack brings cooking-focused gameplay to The Sims 4 with three new countertop appliances, a food stand for selling homemade meals, and a set of kitchen-themed Create a Sim and build mode content. The pack sits in EA's Careers & Lifestyle category and includes 45 CAS items covering hairstyles, food-themed accessories, and aprons, plus 26 build mode objects with appliances and coordinating kitchen décor. It was released on September 28, 2023 and requires the base game.
Appliances and recipes
The pack's three appliances each fill a different kitchen role. The stand mixer preps ingredients automatically, turning one ingredient into five containers of prepped material or combining items like eggs, flour, and sugar into ready-to-use dough. Sims can start the mixer and walk away while it works.
The waffle iron offers 11 waffle varieties, from plain waffles to chicken and waffles and even fish waffles. Higher cooking skill levels open up additional recipes. The countertop pizza oven brings back a fan-favorite from earlier Sims games in a portable form, with 17 pizza and focaccia bread recipes. Pre-prepping dough in the stand mixer saves time before baking. All three appliances let Sims start cooking and step away, though the waffle iron carries a fire risk if left unattended too long.
Food stand
Sims can open a small food business using the new food stand. Dragging prepared food into the stand's inventory and starting a sale triggers a mini event where visiting Sims purchase servings and react to the food on the spot. Stands can be given a custom name with adjusted pricing, and an auto-restock option keeps the menu filled between customers. Two small appliance slots on the stand's attached tables let Sims cook during active sales. Each event ends with a summary showing items sold and Simoleons earned.
Create a Sim and build mode
The 45 CAS items include kitchen-ready hairstyles, food-themed accessories, and aprons for Sims of all ages. On the build side, 26 objects round out cooking spaces with the new appliances and matching décor pieces.
