What the kit adds

Grunge Revival Kit is a Create a Sim kit for The Sims 4 built around 1990s grunge fashion. The kit includes 25 new items spanning clothing, footwear, accessories, and tattoos, all designed with a worn-in, thrifted look. Most of the items are unisex and appear under both masculine and feminine fashion preference tags. Items are available for teen through elder life stages, with no infant or child content included.

Clothing and footwear

The wardrobe covers tops, bottoms, outerwear, footwear, and one full-body outfit. Seven tops range from a cropped black tee with a faded raw hem and a punk-graphic sweater to a fishnet-textured sweater and a llama-graphic tied t-shirt. A spaghetti-strap dress layered over a tee serves as the kit's full-body option. Three outerwear pieces include a hoodie with notebook-style doodles on the front and sleeves, an acid-washed denim jacket layered with flannel, and a split-style flannel with different plaids on each side paired with a graphic tee underneath. Four bottoms round out the clothing, including relaxed-fit plaid pants, cargo shorts, studded denim shorts, and ripped jeans with a studded belt. Footwear includes low-top skater shoes with Freezer Bunny branding.

Accessories and tattoos

Six accessories come with the kit: blocky color-tinted sunglasses with a diamond emblem, a chunky bracelet, a layered choker necklace with chain and lock detail, a key earring, chipped nail polish, and patterned bike shorts. Two tattoo designs are also included. One features Simlish script on the forearm, and the other is a hand-poked collage-style tattoo.

Styling with other packs

The kit's aesthetic pairs naturally with content from the Werewolves Game Pack and Eco Lifestyle Expansion Pack, which share a similar emphasis on rough, imperfect details and alternative fashion. Mixing pieces across these packs gives Sims a layered, lived-in look.
