What the kit includes
The Essential Glam Kit is a Fashion & Style creator kit for The Sims 4, made in collaboration with custom content creator Crypticsim (Nathan). It released on August 21, 2025 and focuses entirely on cosmetics, making it the first kit dedicated solely to makeup. The pack adds 27 Create a Sim items spread across several categories: 6 eyeshadows, 5 eyeliners, 8 lip products, 3 blushes, 4 full face items, and a skin detail option for faux freckles and beauty marks.
Makeup styles and versatility
The collection covers a wide range of occasions. Soft eyeshadows and neutral lip glosses suit everyday daytime looks, while smoky eyeshadows paired with bold lipsticks work for date nights, weddings, award ceremonies, and graduations. Foundation, contour, and highlight items let you shape your Sim's face with more definition. Many of the products include multiple swatches so you can adjust hue, opacity, saturation, and brightness to suit different skin tones.
Light-reactive textures
Several items in the kit respond to in-game lighting conditions. Sheen and shine on the makeup changes depending on whether your Sim is in bright natural light, indoor lighting, or darker environments. The effects are most visible in bright outdoor scenes, where textures appear smoother and colors look more vivid.
