Bowling skill and lane gameplay
Bowling Night Stuff centers on the Ten Pin Adrenaline bowling lane, a §545 buy mode object that lets up to four Sims play at once. Sims pick up the bowling skill as soon as they start a game, and the skill has five levels. Early on, throws tend to land in the gutter, but each level brings better form, fewer stumbles, and new bowling ball designs to choose from. Consecutive center hits activate an "On Fire!" streak that pushes scores higher.
At level 5, Sims wear a bowling glove and can attempt a Perfect Llama game, which requires ten strikes in a row. Pulling it off awards a displayable trophy and an achievement worth 125 points. Children always play with bumpers, so younger Sims can join in without guttering every frame.
Moonlight bowling
Non-residential lots such as bars, nightclubs, and lounges can enable moonlight bowling, a glow-in-the-dark mode that runs from 7 to 11 pm on weeknights and 11 am to 2 pm on weekends. On home lots, Sims with level 5 handiness can upgrade their lane to add the same feature. The mode gives Sims a "Bowling by Moonlight" moodlet.
Create a Sim and build mode
The pack includes around 20 clothing and appearance items with a retro bowling and rockabilly theme, including bowling shirts, bowling shoes, and new hairstyles for adult, teen, elder, and child Sims. Build mode adds 36 objects for putting together a bowling venue or bar area, with neon lighting, bowling-themed décor, and lounge furniture.
A pre-built lot called the Oasis Springs Dust Bowl is included. It is a 30×20 bar venue valued at §68,036 and comes ready to play on.
Get Together integration
Players who also own The Sims 4 Get Together expansion pack gain a "Go Bowling" club activity and a Bowling Skill Boost club perk, letting club members bowl together and gain skill faster during gatherings.
