The Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff is the second stuff pack for The Sims 2, released on April 13, 2006 for PC and April 30, 2007 for Mac. Developed by Maxis and published by EA, the pack adds 60 new items focused on themed rooms, dress-up costumes, and family-oriented decor.
What's included
Three themed furniture and decor sets make up the core of the pack. A castle-themed bedroom comes with castle beds, throne-style chairs, and medieval wall hangings. There's an underwater-themed bedroom filled with ocean decor and sea creature details. And for the rest of the house, an upscale nautical living room set offers a more grown-up coastal look.
The pack also adds three pre-built houses to the neighborhood bin, ready for move-in.
Costumes and clothing
Kids get the biggest wardrobe boost. Dress-up costumes include princess gowns, dragon outfits, and mermaid suits, plus new pajamas and swimwear.
Adults and teens get Hawaiian-themed clothing across all age groups and genders, giving every household member something new to wear.
Simlish music
Barenaked Ladies recorded three tracks in Simlish for this pack: "Easy," "What A Let Down," and "Wind It Up." All three are re-recorded versions of songs from their album Barenaked Ladies Are Me and play on the Pop radio station in-game.
Availability
Family Fun Stuff originally shipped as a standalone retail disc requiring The Sims 2 base game. As part of the broader Sims 2 re-release on the EA App, the pack is now accessible on modern Windows systems.
