Celebration! Stuff is the fifth stuff pack released for The Sims 2. It launched on April 3, 2007 in North America and April 9, 2007 in the UK, developed by Maxis and published by EA Games.
The pack is organized around two themed collections: Weddings and Birthdays. If your Sims were getting married or throwing a party, this was the pack that gave you the outfits and decorations to make it happen.
What's in the pack
Celebration! Stuff includes around 60 items, with most of them focused on wedding attire.
Adult female Sims get four new hairstyles: a white lace veil, a tiara, a ring of posies, and a simple bun with floral accents. There are wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses in a range of colors, from classic whites and champagnes to brighter options. Male Sims can pick from tuxedos in different color combinations. Younger Sims aren't left out, with dress-up options for teens, children, and toddlers.
On the object side, the pack adds wedding arches, birthday and wedding cakes, balloon clusters, party banners, and flower arrangements. There are also covered party tables and chairs, buffet tables, bars, grills, hurricane lamps, vases, umbrellas, and connecting columns for outdoor setups. New wallpapers and floors round out the build mode additions.
Two pre-built lots come with the pack, ready for hosting celebrations.
A situational pack
This one is narrowly focused. If you regularly played out weddings and birthday parties, Celebration! Stuff gave you a solid set of items for those occasions. But if your Sims kept things quiet, with private ceremonies or low-key birthdays, there wasn't a lot here for everyday use.
The pack tends to land in the middle of community rankings for The Sims 2's ten stuff packs, praised for its wedding content but noted for its narrow scope.
How to get it
Celebration! Stuff was originally sold as a standalone PC disc. It is now included in The Sims 2 Legacy Collection, the 2025 re-release that bundles The Sims 2 with all of its expansion and stuff packs. The Legacy Collection is available on the EA App, Steam, and Epic Games Store.
