What's in the pack
Katy Perry's Sweet Treats is the sixth stuff pack released for The Sims 3, arriving in North America on June 5, 2012. The pack adds a large collection of candy and dessert-themed objects, clothing, and hairstyles, all drawn from Katy Perry's style across her red carpet appearances, music videos, and concert performances. It also includes a Simlish recording of Katy Perry's hit song "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" made specifically for the game.
EA retired this stuff pack on July 15, 2013, confirming it would no longer be sold on Origin or produced in physical or digital form. Unused game codes can still be redeemed to add it to an Origin library.
Objects and build items
The pack includes 56 buy mode objects and 8 build mode pieces. Furniture ranges from the Pleasure Boat Sundae Sofa and Buttercream Bed to the Sweet Picnic waffle cone table and Fountain of Treats. Entertainment items include the 6 String Cupcake Surprise guitar and the Ice Cream Blast stereo.
Children get several dedicated play items: the Comfit Clubhouse, Sugar Crystal Sandbox, Mr. Tootles' Swingset, Sweet Slide, and a Gingerbread Dollhouse. Two candy-themed vehicles round out the buy mode catalog, one of which is exclusive to child Sims. Build mode additions cover decorative archways, sweet-themed windows, the Miles o' Mint wall covering, and the Phyllo Fence and Gate.
Clothing and hairstyles
All clothing in the pack is restricted to the young adult and adult life stages. Female Sims receive 28 items including tops, bottoms, and full outfits, while male Sims get only 2 clothing items. Five new hairstyles are included, all exclusively for female Sims.
Pre-built venues
Three community venues come ready to place in any world. Patty's Natural Baths is a swimming pool lot, Bonbon Lawn is a park filled with candy-coated playground equipment, and the Cake Pleasure Dome serves as a local hangout. Each venue is decorated in the pack's candy and dessert style.
