What the pack includes
Movie Stuff brings Hollywood into your Sims' homes with themed decor, furnishings, clothing, and hairstyles drawn from three classic film genres. Released on September 10, 2013 by The Sims Studio, it was the ninth and final stuff pack for The Sims 3, arriving after years of expansions including Generations. The pack contains 33 buy mode objects, including two vehicles, and five build mode objects, alongside new clothing and hairstyles for children, adults, and elders. It requires The Sims 3 base game to play.
Three film genre themes
The items are organized around three movie categories. Comic Book Blockbusters features tight-fitting costumes for creating caped heroes or villains, with sculptures and memorabilia inspired by superhero films. Western Epics adds frontier-style clothing like frilled chaps, smart vests, and ornate Victorian dresses, plus old-timey furniture such as a wooden vanity and a homey rocking chair. The horror theme rounds things out with gothic garb in black and crimson, featuring prominent stitching and rips, alongside decor like a nightmarish bookshelf, a spider web door, and jars of mysterious contents.
Clothing and accessories
Beyond furniture and decor, Movie Stuff includes a range of hairstyles, hats, and helmets suited to each genre. Options range from a winged hero helmet and an expertly tangled gothic hairstyle to a ghostly bridal veil. Clothing items span multiple life stages, with options available for children and elders alongside adult Sims. Facial hair options and shoes round out the Create a Sim additions.
